Points Of Interest:

Limska Fjord

It is located north of Rovinj. Proclaimed as the „special region on the sea“ and „remarkable area“. Interesting also for its various vegetation differing the left and the right side of the fjord. There you can also explore the cave of the Hl.Romualdo. The cave is long 105 meters. It is a speleological phenomena and witness of the unending present of life in this area. In Limska Fjord you can find an extraordinary climbing wall.

 

 

Park Forest „Zlatni Rt”

This nature park is proud with his thousands kind of plant sorts. Favorite destination for recreation and sport enthusiasts who love nature. Bicycle paths are guiding you through the park and the coast, introducing you with its beauty. In the summer months its beaches are the most visited on Rovinj area.

Dvigrad

 Dvigrad is 23 km far from Rovinj. The city was abandoned in the 1630, and its rests are well kept. The visitors of Dvigrad are finding out how middle age cities were looking. It is for sure worthy for a visit. Another great spot for climbing fans is right beside.

 

 

Rovinj aquarium

It is in the north harbor of the city. Situated in the beautiful building of the Institute for research of the sea "Ruder Boškovic". In the summer months the aquarium is open from 9 to 21h.

Fishermen's` event Already traditionally, in the summer months in Roving the Fishermen's` events are taking place. With the sound of the mandolin and Rovinj „bitinada“(the singing of the fishermen's), the inhabitants and the tourists are enjoying in the fish specialties and wine.

Grisia: Dated on the first weekend of August it is representing art and style from Rovinjs´ and Croatians´ painters, photographers and other artists. This competitive exhibition is situated in the street of Grisia in the old city of Rovinj . A Must for art and cultural interested people!

Watersports:

 

Around Rovinj you are offered a full range of water sport activities. Every year thousands of people coming to Rovinj to enjoy the exciting underwater world around the many islands near Rovinj. Furthermore for Apnea interests there is a yearly academy taking place where world champions like Umberto Pelizzari are teaching you the mystic sport of free diving.

 

But also water skiing, wakeboarding and all kind of fun sports are offered in Rovinj.

Sailing:

 

For all sailormen and women Rovinj is also a good starting point for hiring sailing boats to take a ride over the nice Adriatic sea . You can charter any kind of boat you would like to.

For our mountaineers Rovinj is offering a great place for climbing. It is situated next to the sea and is just taking about 10 minutes walk from the local marina. You have about 20 routes in all kinds of difficulties. But also around Rovinj you find one of the most attractive climbing areas in whole Croatia , so don't miss it just try it!

 

 

Bicycle paths:

Rovinj is proudly presenting its 40 km of Bike paths. Passing through the most beautiful beaches, Park Forest , the protected area of Palud and its many camping. You can even reach Pula on the longest trail.
